SERTEC ENERGY AWARDED DIN CERTCO CERTIFICATE

Sertec Energy Ltd is proud to announce the test results for its technically advanced solar thermal collector.

Measuring has been conducted by the internationally renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany and the results have certainly been worth waiting for.

Tests have been conducted on Sertec's Heatwave SG 1002, a new generation of solar thermal panels.

This innovative product is the world's first solar metal heat pipe collector, with multiple heat pipes formed from only two pieces of stainless steel. This in turn is enclosed in a steel backing tray, insulated and finished with a low iron slolar glass with a black ceramic border.

This technology has produced dramatic results in testing and Sertec has been accredited with the Din Certco Certificate, conforming to DIN EN 12975 - 1:2006-06 and 2:2006-06.

Dramatically, the collector provides usable heat after only 8 seconds and can operate up to 230 C with a stagnation temperature of 169 C.

In efficiency testing, operating at 800W/m2 the panel has a maximum power output of 726W.

The units are only 52mm thick and weigh only 23kg, making them easy to install and handle.

The response from both domestic and commercial markets has been extremely positive, with installations already benefitting the customers.

The Fraunhofer test results and certification has confirmed this new technology as a leader in worldwide market for solar heat pipe collectors.
